Booked a once in a lifetime hunt!!

I have been pretty bummed after i found out that Mt goat at the outfitter keep went with is booked up until 2017.. Last week i started talking to Doc May and he suggested i look into North BC moose and talk to the guys at BSC(bowhunting safari consultants)

I talked to my wife and becuase Sept 2015 will be my 30th birthday she said i can splurge a little bit..
After what seems like 100 emails and talking to Dixie the wife of mike the main outfitter, i told Mark at BSC to book it.. Once dates and paper work are done ill be sending my down payment..

In Sept 2015 I am going to Sakanni River outfitters in B.C. on a Combo Moose/ Free range bison Archery hunt. And if time allows i will have a Mt goat tag in my pocket as well.. I am beyond excited.. Sikanni is one of only 1 or 2 places that you can hunt free range bison in north america without drawing a tag.. Also bc it is north BC the moose get BIG!!! Up to 60"..

Time to start getting in shape and getting all my gear together.. Im just glad i have two years to pay for it

You are doing it right and I am happy for you. I am sure there will be lots of envy that you are going on a trip like this. I know it will be incredible and I know Mark would never stear you wrong. You better keep a good journal and post up the recap when you get home. Sounds like an awesome wife as well. As I said, I am happy for you. That is awesome! One day I plan on chasing Canadian whitetails with trad gear.
My cousin just took this moose last week at 20yards. Not quite sure where he went but either way you should have a blast!
