Are you gonna bow hunt on 15 acres?....I can see gun hunting where you have a good chance at dropping an animal in its tracks, but that don't give an arrow shot deer very much room to run before getting on another landowners property.

        Yea.
I don't think they will go that far with a 2" swhacker thru em.

Deer are so messed up on all the meth around there that they'll never see you so a close shot opportunity is a good possibility. All B.S. aside Good luck there's some great deer in that area

Don't count on it. And I've yet to see a swhacker go through anything. They usually don't make it out the far side and half the TV hosts that use them end up "leaving them overnight" (a.k.a. time to get the dogs).

I am, so far, not impressed by what I've seen.

But bowhunting on 15 acres is completely doable if you think you can get permission from the neighbors to follow a blood trail onto their property. I've done it many times, for many years, on tracts that small or smaller.

Michael, if it were a few miles west of that address I would say go for it.

That particular location I would say would not be worth the drive if you wanted to kill a deer.

I think what he is trying to tell you is don't count on that happening every time and get to
                          know your neighbors.

don't know the area myself, but based on google maps, sure seems like its kinda in the middle of everything. houses and roads on all sides of property. But hey, its a free place to hunt and if you even get a doe off of it, it'd be worth it. you never know what might be hiding in those woods.

Don't leave any stands or feeders out over night ! They won't be there when you wake up ! Things tend to just walk away out there in the big V . Lol....
