        We killed this one.....

.....a year ago on our place. He looked to have the same girth as that one. They stretch when you skin them but this one is still 7 feet long right now w/out the head & I trimmed his sides to even him out. Biggest one I have ever seen.

I was told a 7' snake that can be captured alive is worth $10,000+ to some?? Anybody confirm this?? I like snakes but HATE the ones w/ rattlers so not sure I'm up to the task of catching one even for that coin.

The best thing about that rattler is that it won't be striking at anything from now on.........I don't like rattlers.....big or small.

I don't think it that big.....like Misplaced Teexan said compare the girth of his body to the end of the T-post.

Dont get carried away on the photo illusion on the T-post. He's holding the body almost level with his shoulders and higher than the cyclone fence. Unless that guy is a midget that snakes right at 8' long with the body to match.

Maybe its not as big as it appears, but still would make me soil my pants, if I would him in my popup one morning
