I love big cats so when my GF sent me a link to this place (bigcat.org) we decided to make the trip with some friends of ours. The facility was well ran and they certainly put the cats first. No clue if this place it peta happy or not 
As hot as it was, the cats were NOT active but we still saw quite a few. Its not great for cameras because the cages make things very difficult to focus and get in the way almost every single picture. With that said, it was still well worth the trip!
Here are some of the pics I got. I had to manually focus many times because of the fencing, but it beats being eaten The size of these cats when you are close to them is amazing. Some liked people, some didnt!
