    My Apologies To Moultrie

There was a post on here a couple weeks ago and I talked about the trail camera and all the problems I had. As it turned out there were others on here that had the same issues. This is what I found out. You have to use the regular SD card or they can and will malfunction. I took the Ultra 16mb out of my digital camera which is also a no no. You need to use the plain SD 16mb, they are not smart enough to read the ultra, extreme, ect. Also , you cannot take a card out of your digital camera that already has pictures on it and expect it to work.

I took the batteries out for five minutes, which resets the camera, installed new batteries, the correct SD card, and wha la. Hope this info helps some of you that had the same issues.

Great post, I ran into this problem this weekend. And was wondering what happened, because the camera was working just fine before.

Hmmm I'll try this on my 2 when I get home. Ive been cussing them in my head all weekend since switching cards. Maybe I owe them an apology (in my head).

Always let the cameras format the SD cards as well.

we have 16 Moultires and I love them all ..
picture quality, ease of use, battery life is unbelievable,
Most of the cameras have been out for 3 years..running constantly.. all weather... with nothing but a battery change..and they keep on tickin.
Only one failure in the bunch and the last pic it took correctly was a cow rubbing on it..

Another issue for some cameras is using a card that is too big for the camera. My old first gen. TruthCam 35 will not function with anything over a 2 gig card.

Ive been cussing a moultrie as well. Using a regular 4 GB card and it wont take pics, just video. Ill try the battery thing this weekend and see if that helps. It ran great all last year.

It has been a while but there had been same type of posts in the past. I had the same problem but customer service helped me out and problem solved. I have upgraded cameras since then and they are doing great.

Thanks, I don't have a Moultrie but I'm having trouble with my SpyPoint. This gives me something to check.
