I believe i read about this in a news article. Evidently this was in Russia. I could believe it, if the fawn were small enough and the bird, big and heavy enough.

I think Nat Geo, or some organization like them, documented it. Pic caught with a trail camera from what I remember.

im skeptical on this. the bird looks like a blown up duck. look at the weird long neck

My buddy watched an eagle try and knock a stone sheep off the mountain last week. There was a group of rams and the eagle swooped down and hit him in the back, they bunched up then watching the bird. He made 4 or 5 more passes before giving up and leaving.
