Frio River lodging

I am wanting to take the family to the Frio this summer and need some recommendations on lodging. Looks to be a lot online but I would rather have a recommendation from someone thats been. Any help would be appreciated.

We have a cabin at Neal's Lodges in July, never been but this was the place that was recommended.

The Circle H Lodge is AWESOME. The house is in the middle of an exotic game ranch, so you will see some incredible animals. It is in a beautiful valley, and there is a spring-fed, natural, DEEP swimming hole in front of the house. We are going in August, can't wait. Just google "Circle H Leakey" and it should come up.

We stay on a big ranch and the Frio runs right through it. We had this stretch all to ourselves while there. Also, this ranch is loaded with game and lots of hogs! We are going in June for a week and I'll be doing a little bit of hog hunting while there. Can't wait! Here's the website to this place.

Johnny, Will they let you hunt hogs at the frio river landing? Is this something you set up yourself with them? Looks like a neat place.

We go to Chalk Bluff every summer, they have some nice cabins at pretty reasonable rates. Liitle further down the road but nice.
