No axis here that I know of. Heard rumors of some black buck though.

All deer have cleared my area at this point. I'm going to hang out till 11 at least. Maybe I'll catch an old brute traveling alone. Then I'm going to check a cam I have set up in a draw that heads to a wheat field. I'll stay in touch.

Well no luck this morn. Checked the other cam and nothing on it. Weird deal. I'll be back this afternoon. I guess this is why it's called hunting and not killing.

I hunt in mason on 1871 and on the road headed towards fredericksburg. Where abouts are you at? Just curious I had some rutting activity last week

We are north of town off 386. Closer to fredonia. The deer were acting a little different this morning than they were yesterday but it didn't look too intense. It's pretty warm here. They might be doing some chasing at night but during the day they are pretty shut down. I'm heading back out now. We shall pray for success. Good luck to everyone else hunting this evening. Well this is fizzling down quickly. Haha. Hopefully I can pick up the action tomorrow. I saw nothing this evening. A couple other guys had some action and one pig was killed. Blood has been drawn. He put a schwacker to him.

This morning was slow again. I had a buck run by and a bobcat slip past me. Not terrible but not a lot for a 4 hour sit. I'm going out now and will sit all day. It's too nice to stay inside, can't kill em from the couch!
