How to get rid of coons......

I have been duct taping and tie wrapping those yellow or green rat bait solid bars to the legs of my feeders and this seems to have solved my coon issues. For a long time. They will usually attack them in one night and it has shown no ill effects on deer. Its sure saving my solar panel wires....
Does anyone else have a good way of doing this? I'm curious....

Never heard of doing that. We just call them in with the foxpro and take out as many as we can every couple weeks. Havent had any coon pics in a while. And I have also seen a lot of people using these.

Live traps or coon cuffs you can be certain of what the target species is. Rat poison will kill your rats, but the down side is your bigger predatory snakes that eat rattlesnakes will also eat the dead rats killing the beneficial snakes. Your deer probably are not eating the bars, but I wouldn't want to risk it if they decided to try one.

Mix Golden Marlin Fly bait with catfood, the hotter you mix it the faster they die. Most will never leave the dish.

After losing a couple hundred dollars on feed, I took expanded metal and made some very simple box cages to put around my feeders. I'm now saving up to about 80 percent of my feed that coons and squirrels were spinning out at night. Even with the coons still in the area, I hardly even see them eating the corn on the ground in my game cam pics being its not much of an easy target any more.

Yeah, it works. Shhhh. That will kill your deer if they get ahold of it.

DO NOT KILL THEM!! You kill one and three more show up in it's place. That seams to happen to me.

                              Ahhhhhhh
                              Here is a plan.

Take Canned CAT FOOD or even squirt a little HONEY on it.

Dip/Cover the RAT POISON BLOCKS in the CAT FOOD and then the COONS will eat the POISON.

Deer would not touch it !!!

I am going to do this next trip up ...
