I bought my 7yr old son his first "real" recurve from GreatTree Archery back in early September. It was a Samick Polaris 48" 14-16lb. The riser bolts would not fit through the limb bushings, which leads me to believe that the bow wasn't entirely made by Samick. After a few polite conversations, I arranged for a return for full refund. I sent the bow back several weeks ago, confirmed it's arrival, and I still have not received a refund. This morning I sent an email to the person I've been dealing with, and I was told "my supervisor is out of the country until the end of the month, so no financial transactions can happen until he gets back. Remind us again next month". ***?
I'm sure I'll get my money back, because I have plenty of email to back up my claim if I have to take it to VISA for a dispute, but just be aware GreatTree isn't exactly big on customer service if you decide to do business with them.
