I am seeing more buck movement driving into the office the last few day. In Burnet Llano Cnty the rut has always began the last weekend on Archery.

Haven't seen anything chasing does yet but there is a lot of deer (and unfortunately hog) activity. Deer are coming to feeders, but I have seen the bigger deer in the hills mowing down the acorns and ignoring the feeders. Good luck.

I hunt 15 miles north of Llano in Cherokee and been out 2x this season. There's plenty of browse and acorns on the ground so not much deer activity at the feeders yet; this is pretty typical for us. I'm seeing far higher numbers of turkey and pigs at the feeder (which has made for fun practice while i'm in the stand!)
