I'm in the pop up again here in Trinity Co. Woods are alive all around. Got a ticked of squirrel barking at me.....I guess I scared him coming in to the blind. It pretty funny lol but if he keeps it up he may eat a ST Mag here shortly. I'm sitting all day but may crawl out to hang a tree stand to sit this evening. Got a great East wind in my face. Let's see how it goes.

Super slow morning.....I may give it another hour in the pop up then head out and hang a stand for this evening. I want to try and get it hung so I can sit as early in the afternoon as possible to try and catch a mid day cruiser and sit till dark. Just had a couple dogs walk through.....don't know where they came from but just cruised on byComment

Ok well had to get back in the pop up for the evening hunt. Been sitting since about 2ish. I was planning on hunting a tree this evening but I got the stand hung and ready to go but I forgot my dang safty harness at the house!!!!! I set it up on a secluded trail that's been worn to dirt with traffic through the thick under brush....looks to be a great spot to catch one coming and going to bed. Since I won't sit a tree stand without a harness on...I guess its back to the pop up for me. I did however hang a camera on the trail. Ill check it out in a week or 2 when I can get back here to hunt again. As for the evening hunt.....nothin so far but a couple squirrels munching on the hamd cornComment
