Back at it for an evening sit. Sat this morning until 11:45 and wouldn't you know it on my way back to my truck I bumped a good sized doe heading in the general
Direction of my blind. Should have sat maybe 30 minutes longer!! That figures!!!

Exact same thing happened to me at 11:30 when I left for lunch.

In the stand now. Had a lot of activity around 3. Guess the full moons has had something to do with it.

Good luck brother..Same in jasper county yesterday..nice crisp morning..jumped a doe going in and coming out..raccoons rabbits and dove in stand..blame it on the full moon..

Well about 6:30 had a couple deer heading towards me but they hung up at around 50-60 yards. Then they winded me and left the area. That's the 2nd time this season I been busted. Never really had a problem before in years past. I spray down good with dead down wind plus I tried nosejammer tonight. Maybe that's what they smelled. Or my thermacell. Not sure but I got to figure it out.

I wonder about that thermacell. If I don't use mine the skeeters are too bad to hunt. I wonder if it is spooking the deer.

Seemed like every once in a while I would catch a whiff of it. If I can smell it I'm sure the deer can. But the first time I got winded earlier this year I didn't have it on. So who knows???
