i grew up hunting with my dad who was ADD, so we were usually ready to go by 8:30-9. I have since been trying to stay out till at least 10, even if it means me walking and stalking for another 30mins to an hour. but some days its just smart to get down early. like in a lightning storm or tornado lol. if the wife is occupied and doing an activity then i have no problem staying out a bit later, but if its Saturday, i feel a little selfish to stay too long. What time are y'all getting to the stand? i get set about 6:00

11:00, at least. If I don't see deer until 10:30 or so I'll sit to noon if I'm feeling it!
Been many days I don't see deer moving until 10:00 or just before.
I guess different parts of the state where 10+ deer come out when the feeder goes off its easier to pattern.
It's been my experience that it's not like that in east tx.
Of the 3 good deer I've ever killed one was a evening hunt shot about 30 min before legal light ended. On the two morning hunts one came out at 10:00, the other came out @ 10:35. Both where during the rut that is usually the last week of bow season and 1st week of gun season.

When no one is relaying on me to haul them to and from camp I can sit a long time.
When hunting in East Texas I usually sit until 11:30 but have had made it much longer.
On my Menard deer lease- once all the corn is gone the deer flee the scene until evening time so no use sitting there over bare dirt.
Sometimes I'll retrip the feeder and draw some young ones back out but have yet to see much to make it worth staying late.
