    Sewer hose for Travel trailer

What would you guys recommend as a means to run the black water from our trailer to homemade septic tank? I've seen the sewer hoses you can buy at the rv store. I'm looking for a longer option. I was also wondering if the black and gray water are already apolitical or is this something I need to do. As you can see, I haven't looked at it to much. I'm trying to gather stuff up before my trip next weekend.

    Thanks

Sewer hoses can be attached to each other to make them longer

You can run PVC pipe if you plan on leaving the camper there long term and do not want the sun to rot out your hose.

Be sure to leave the black tank blocked in until you want to drain it. If not you will wind up with a pyarmiad of toliet paper built up just under the seat in the tank. You need the liquid to help flush everything out of the black tank.

When you dump the black tank be sure and block in the gray tank so none of the black water backs up into the gray tank. It is a good idea to have a good level in the gray tank so that when you dump the black tank you can flush with the gray tank to get the toliet paper into the septic and not plug your line.

We don't have any holding tanks. I'm just running the hose/pipe to a make shift septic tank. Does anyone know what fitting I'll need to connect the PVC to the outlet from the trailer?

Short piece of septic hose and a radiator clamp should work.

I did it before but it has been so long ago I forget exactly how I mated the two together.

Thanks guys. Will there be a separate out let for for the black and grey water on a FEMA trailer?

R.v. Septic hose and 3" pvc and gorilla Tape is what i used ... Works great but dont plan on getting but about 1 or 2 years out of the hose due to sun and weather..

That's what I was thinking. 4" corrugated pipe should work well. It's mostly for when the wife an daughter come out. The fellas will be using the outhouse

use the smooth, green pipe in 3" - the corrugated will be really nasty in a short time.

Can you takes pic of the drain outlet?

You should be able to pick up a threaded adapter from an RV supply and run 3" plastic pipe and fittings into your septic tank.

Try to make the pipe have some room to flex as your camper could settle in time and put your pipes in a bind.

                            Same for the water connection.

Sch 40 white PVC pipe and fittings are the easiest type of plastic to find.
