The life of a government employee

2 weeks off with pay on top of the gazillion holidays they already get. And then a 1% pay increase the first of the year.

My life:
Lost my job in May used up half my savings .
New job in August with a 20% pay decrease.

Oh we'll I have to go to work, taxes to pay.

Rumor has it, They were also given a letter to give to any creditors they may have debt with basically saying take it easy on this individual during the shutdown as this is not their fault....

Where is the letter for all the non gov. folks who were handed a lay off notice or a reduction in hrs to be knocked down to part time status?

This is what I would like to know, where was all the help and government when the private sector employee's which were prolly a far cry better then 800,000 (of which I was a part of at the time) got laid off because of cuts and recession.........
