I do believe it is illegal plus there is no cut...just a puncture. Goooood luck finding a turkey if you have to count on a blood trail.

Just ruin a broadhead, designate it as your turkey head and reuse it.....folks do it all the time.

Please don't shoot one with a FP. Go buy some cheap expandables from walmart. They will do fine.

Ages ago I think I remember hearing guys turn their weights down to try and not get a full pass through. Have the arrow sticking out both sides so they couldn't fly away.

I say use a broadhead and designate it for turkeys.

You WILL lose a turkey you shoot with a field point. They may be kind of small, but they are tough!

Turkey's are tough critters, it's hard enough to shoot one with a bh I couldn't imagine shooting one with a FP. Them suckers keep on running too!

I think a dull broadhead may even be better for turkeys cause you may not get a pass through and if the arrow is in them, they cannot fly. I shot one with a brand new broadhead this spring and never found my arrow, went clean through and kept on going.

Odds of "ruining" a broadhead are slim unless you miss.

If the turkey doesn't mean anymore than that to you then don't shoot it

this is the dumbest thing I've heard all week....and selfish

learn to sharpen a broadhead if you don't want to buy a new one
