Good news for those who have been waiting to scout, fish, etc!! The Refuge resumes regular hours today!

From the Refuge Manager:

Reminders for the archery deer hunters - Meyers, Harris, and Big Mineral are the units open for hunting for 2013. No game cameras allowed. Refuge closes at dark. There are no areas open for any type of small game hunting at this time.

going Sat morning. Kinda glad I waited to scout now. Cool weather and just 2 weeks til the Hunt!!!

Yeah, I will go for a while on Saturday morning. I'm trying to get ready to leave for a mule deer hunt on Sunday, so I won't be able to stay all day. I already did some scouting and know where my first choice area is. I'm just looking at back up now.
