    Hunting Chair

What do you guys and gals prefer to use for your chair when hunting out of a blind for archery.

Some Background: I have now hunted a couple different types of setups: ladder stand, tripod, pop-up, brush blind, climber, and lock on. All of the elevated setups sort of force you into a limited number of options when it comes to your seating position. I have come to accept that after 3-4 hour sits as I like to do, it can get uncomfortable at times but it comes with the type of stand I chose. There are some tricks I have learned, like I have used a pad on a metal seat ladder stand with great success. Standnig only occasionally to stretch the legs.

I get office chairs from goodwill. The ones with removable arms. Then I take off the arms and remove the casters, adjust as needed. Usually costs about $7 to $12 per chair.

For box blinds with a solid floor, I use an old office chair.

For homemade ground blinds with a dirt floor I perfer this chair from Woodsy Too: http://www.woodseytoo.com/catalog/5/lil-sit
