Value of a 7.3L F250 in todays market?

Well its hard for me to say it but I'm gonna be putting my pride and joy for sale in the next few weeks. (MODS move this if it needs to be moved)It has been an amazing truck for the last seven years, but I can't justify keeping it when I no longer haul trailers or get feed on a regular basis. My question is how much is this thing really worth in todays market. Blue Book had my truck at $10k, but I haven't found any trucks near as nice as mine selling for that price. I'll post up the specs and yall let me know what you think a fair asking price would be. I know I wont get back all the money I've spent on mods either.

If its paid for, can you afford NOT to keep it?

I think $10k is a fair price for the truck, which is very nice, by the way.

Idk what I want for it just yet. I've put over $7k dollars in it over the last year and a half. Don't really know what it's worth since others are selling for more than $10k and they are not near as nice of a truck as mine. I'd love to keep it but I need more room.

Worth way more than 10K. I own a 97 with 162k miles. Your truck only has 178k and still has a lot of life. I've seen a 99 with 512k miles still running strong. You can't beat the 7.3 PS. Hang on to it if at all possible. I'm in WANT mode for a quad cab but know mine will last me many more years. Its the best motor ever produced by Ford. I would easily say 15k

I would be interested but no for $15k. No matter what engine is in it, it's still almost 15 years old and has almost 200,000 miles. There is more to what a truck is worth than just the motor fellas. It is however a very nice looking truck.

Only thing that will limit your market is that it is an extended cab and not a crew.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay. I bought my E 99 2 years ago with only 90,000 miles on it for $16,500.00. I would think you could list it for $14,000.00 and see what happens. Us 7.3 guys are a messed up bunch and love those trucks
