This! After having to sit under my blind on opening day about 25 years ago because my blind had hundreds of wasp in every corner, a no- pest strip goes in my blinds every year.

I haven't had that problem in the past but this morning my son and I got in a ground blind on one of my leases in Arkansas and I sat down and felt something sting me between my left little finger and ring finger. Got the light on and it was a big hornet. I got my son out and went back in and there were six of them in there. I was able to get them out and got back in the blind.

After reading this, I went up to the Home Depot close to my sister's house and grabbed a No Pest Strip to hang in the blind. I also saw some granular snake repellent. Anyone have experience with this?

Grizzman: The granular snake repellant is "Dr. T's" and has naphthalene (same stuff as in moth balls). Labeled to be effective on rattlesnakes. Does not claim to repel copperheads, coral snakes or water moccasins. Pretty strong odor; not sure how deer would feel about it.
