    New here

Im new to the bow hunting scene but have been hunting since I was a kid. She goes hunting with me every year but we use rifles. CZ .308 and a Rem. 30-06 model 7400. I recently bought my wife a parker side-kick extreme a draw weight set at #40 lbs and lenght set at 24. She is doing really good with her accuracy and consistency. Now I am looking to finding a bow for myself after seeing the fun she is having. Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

Good luck and welcome to the fire. It's definitely a lit more exciting to me than rifle hunting. I've been at it for a couple of years now and I hardly p/u my rifle anymore.

go to a bow shop and talk with them, they should let you shoot a few different ones to see what you like.

      Welcome aboard.

Welcome! I got on the green screen when I started also. You can learn a lot on here that's for sure. Some great folks all around. My wife shoots also, and it's fun to shoot together. I will also recommend goin to a pro shop and having them set you up. Start entry level and go from there if you want. Whatever feels right for you is what matters. Also, practice practice practice!

Welcome to the fire! My advice would be to go to your local pro shop and shoot as many bows as you can. Let the bow pick you, regardless of what brand it is. Practice as much as possible and welcome to your new addiction!
