If turning it on high for 5 mins to " burn" off any leftovers is cleaning, then yes I am guilty!

No brushing for me most of the time, can't clean the flavor out of your pit

I burn off and brush my gas grill. On my Bradley, I wipe it out before each use.

I soak mine in bleach, use a high pressure power wash, soap lather, rinse & repeat. Does these count? Seriously thought, cleaning pit, grill or any thing out door meat cooking equipment? Cleaning is not in my coockin bible, may be a spray of salt water for rinsing if need be. A seasoned out door cooker is a perfect seasoning for meat, a good 'Ol brush is all I use to clean. Ok, shop vac to top it all.

Never. Brush the grate with a wire brush and that's it.

Never. But I don't use a gas grill. I use to use a wire brush but now use a Scotchbrite pad on my grill.

Cut an onion in half and rub it over the grill. Cleans it up and smells oh so good. Also spray the inside of the grill with Italian dressing.
