I have. Number 2 and 5 at same time. No need to replace all of them unless you just want to and have a pile of cash laying around. I replaced with Bosch remans from Chrysler. Replace injector tubes as well. Check bottom of fuel filter bowl. If you see ANYTHING in there besides fuel, have the fuel system flushed and replace filter.

I buy Bosch reman injectors from bomb shelter diesel in houston. Very reasonable prices and a year warranty. Replace as they fail. If your changing fuel filters and burning pump fuel you shouldn't have any issues. I've replaced many on trucks I've owned and worked on with no failures with the reman unit.

I replaced my fuel filter 2 weeks ago. Now it seems like I'm using more fuel than normal. I can get my mpgs up to 20 while driving then get home turn the truck off and let it sit. When I crank it back up the mpgs are always at 15. It just started doing this after the fuel filter change. 07 5.9.

I had mine rebuilt and flow balanced by F1. I had them do the 40hp upgrade. Being I put tons of miles on it, I didn't want to go with bigger injectors. James Northum in Midlothion Tx did the work. I also added a two micron fuel filter. It will extend the life of your injectors. I've got nearly 200,000 miles since the upgrade and it runs as good as the day I bought it. I've got over 380,000 miles total so far. This is on an 06.

Ive heard that injectors are hit and miss......most are good for the life of the truck, but there are some that will take a crap.....and apparently I have one of those!!! Just trying to get a feel whether its worth it to replace them all at once. Whose to say if I drop 500 bucks to replace one now, another wont go out in 6 months. That's another 500 bucks 6 months from now. Why not just spend the 3K now and get them all replaced with upgrades and not worry about it?!?!

Because the same holds true for the remans. Most are solid and and some will fail prematurely. I'd hate to drop 3K on a set to have one fail in a year or two anyway. I'll replace them as they fail on the gamble that the ones that are still good will stay good.
Not trying to sway your decision here, just laying out my thought process on the matter. Hope you get her fixed up either way.

I had to replace mine about 6 months ago. Trust me replace them all!!! After 100k miles they are on borrowed time, but i made mine last to 212k. Not sure what year yours is but on my 04 they work off electronics. The other big thing is not to drive it much once you figure out one is bad. If stuck open it can quickly melt down a piston. I went with 100 hp injectors and love them plus more extras of course. A great place for info on all things cummins is cumminsforum.com. If your in the Austin area go to Burtam and talk to Alex at Hamilton diesel.
