Bad start

My son headed to China for tournament and first flight left 40 min late,they missed connecting flight,airline not being helpful, dont know if luggage and equipment made connecting flight, Delta now says they will reroute through Tokyo then to Shenghi but very late then want them to find their own transportation from airport to tournament site(I think approx 2 hrs away) on their own. Hope this does not stress out our 2 team USA members that are having to deal with this!

There are many factors that create flying delays. Weather somewhere on the other side of the world can effect operations worldwide.
Hopefully they have a little better luck with all the other flights and with finding a ride to the tournament once they get there.

oh no! I have a friend going to that tournament as well but not sure when she left, her name is Mackenzie Brown. I thought she left yesterday though.

They are getting routed thru Tokyo, still looking for equipment and luggage, they do have 2 days of practice to get back in the groove. I have 100% faith in their abilities but the mental aspect has me a little stressed, of course thats because I'm here and can' fix it.

World Archery Tournament. They shoot FITA style targets and these shoots are the road to the Olympics.
