    The "Nest is Empty"

The last man child is out the door tonite to an apartment. I really wish him luck, but he has got a lot of growing up to do. Lord knows I have tried. Time to learn the hard way.

Well it seems you have done your best and thats all you can do. Now just be there when they need you and sooner or later they will. My oldest thought she was ready too about a month or so ago she said she was tired of living here so she left and we let her go with our blessings. Fast forward to last month and she is back home. She Realized that trying to do it all alone is not as easy as she thought it was. {Plus the roomates she had werent the greatest of people to start with} Every now and then you have to let them learn it the hard way and find out for themselves it aint that easy. Best of Luck to him.

Nail their bedroom doors shut and don't ever let them come back.

I'm sure it'll change as my oldest is only 8, but I don't look forward to that day.

I love raising my girls. When the first one left for college, it was tough. When the second left, it was just as tough. When the twins leave, in a few years, I'll cry for an hour.....but I ain't wearing pants in the house for at least 10 years. You see, when you have four girls you always have to wear pants in your own house. That crap stops the day the last one leaves.
