Well got out to the stand a bit late and didn't see any deer. Though they might have been scared off after my elevated voice when I almost stepped on a baby rattler!

Did get some interesting news when I pulled in to the gate. There was a note that said our landowner has died and gave some family contact numbers. Not sure what this means...
