My friend just sent me this photo...

What is the black thing?

Not sure if that is a collar or a tree branch near its neck.

Clearly it is NOT a cow, since the ankles bend.

However, I seriously doubt it is a cat. There is NO way coyotes would ever mess with or chase a cat! He would destroy them... right?
