Hunting in the heat.... Does it work??

Seems like every time I hunt in weather above 80 I don't see a thing. Anybody else have this problem??? I get in plenty early and leave well after dark, so I'm there as much as possible. I want to hunt this weekend, but my family wants my fiancée and I to come home to celebrate, and I'm trying to figure out which hunts will be better. When it is hotter, do y'all have better success in the morning or evening?? I've got to hunt a little to scratch my itch, but family is important as well, so I wanna try and make everybody win here.

I don't see anything in any weather. My lease has very little deer population.

If hunting in the heat matters in SETX, we would never get to hunt. Its always hot! Definitely dont wanna **** off the wife though, there is always next weekend.

It doesn't really matter at my place. I usually have about as many in the morning as I do in the afternoon but most show up in the last 30 min in the evening

Doesn't matter where we hunt. We see deer on the hot and cold days. The only thing that really changes is the temperature in the box...

Normally when it's hot, I see about the same amount of deer; they just tend to come earlier in the morning and later in the evening.

whacked a decent 8 point saturday night, sweating like a you know what in church.

I think it sucks WAY more for the hunter than it does the deer.

Heat = very little deer movement at our lease near Huntsville.

I have found that the first half hour of shooting light is best on hot days IMO.

Shot a doe saturday. It was 92 outside, and about 152 inside my fiberglass tank blind

About 8hrs in that tank you should be close to medium rare.

Deer feel much more confortable when the temperature is down around freezing. They have to eat though and will move at any time to feed. It is normally better to hunt at dawn and dusk as deer are diurnal animals.
