National Forest Doe Permits & Gov shutdown

Do yall think the shutdown will affect the drawing of doe permits? I put in for the Moore Plantation. I know the plantation is a state WMA not federal land but it does fall with the boundaries of the sabine national forest which is federal lands. Just wondering if they will be delayed or drawn at all? Have anyone heard anything?

I was wondering the same thing about the Big Sandy. Not necessarily about the doe permits, but about if the offices were closed down and I will not be able to sign up this year.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Leave it up to the 'Great State of Texas" to step in and get the job done when our dysfunctional federal government fails us all.

When I called TPWD they said that the permits are going to be drawn.
