I hang mine in a small closet that I'm converting into a gun closet. I just made a hook from a clothes hanger and hang it from the clothes rod.

if you have a spare closet, you could hang them from the closet rod by hooks with an old sweatshirt over them to keep them from scratching each other
      Showoff!!!

      Awesome room sir.

        10 bows?

We keep ours (only 4) in SKB cases stacked up in the guest bedroom.

Hall closet has just enough room to hang 7 bows from the ceiling and still use the shelf above the closet rod.

not trying to show off, just put a lot of thought into this 12x12 room to have my little slice of space. (empty nest) (a bow work shop but also a work shop for reels/guns.... whatever except wood cutting. half my garage but with a wall AC unit )
I even had thought about horizontal stacking but that is 50" wide (at least) and 6 foot tall and that would put bows down by the floor (grandkids= not good)
the closet idea comes along each time i think about changing gears on that room. i had friends that kept their bows in the case out in the garage or hanging out there. too much heat and spider webs for the money i have in them

Me and one of my best friends built one each ourselves. Mine is a double rack that has room to add in one more spot for an in strung recurve in the middle. Has a cabinet drawer on the bottom as well. Made the curves free hand with a jig saw

                  Dang picture is sideways

I hope you didn't take that wrong. It was honestly good natured coming from me. I envy your set up. Very well done.

I've been looking for a way to store mine as well. The house is really small and every closet (of the few we have) is already full. I've been looking at some wall racks and found these that I really like: http://www.bowtrax.com/cart/agora.cg...roduct=bowtrax

I have racks for forty nine if I counted right. You can hang A LOT of trad bows on two walls. I have a wonderful wife that tolerates and even likes my bow collection.

Definitely not! That's a great way to store a bow. But when you have 4, 5, 6 bows, all those hard cases take up too much room! LOL! Besides, having another way to store them means you only have to buy 1-2 hard cases, for when you travel.

                                <------------- Check out the avatar!

I hang my bow in my living room from the cam. Put some soft felt on the hook that was already stuck up in the ceiling...I think it was a plant hook that the first owners left in the ceiling...so I just put my bow there. Good thing is it's right by the back door, so when I want to shoot, I just grab it off the hook and head outside! Sure beats opening up the case everything. Plus...I get to stare longingly at it while I watch tv and drink beer.
