    Age on this guy

I'm not good on the numbers game but trying to get that way as we evolve in MLD. I would consider him mature but how many years ya put on him?

Maybe im missing something but that deer looks 5.5 to 6.5 for me. He definitely shows his age. Rack is small for his size. He would be walking dead on our place. Good luck.

I'd call him mature and ready for harvest if it fits your management plan
            Good luck

Man my heart sank when read the first post. I had him 4.5-5 leaning towards 5. To me killing a deer with that kind of age on him in the pines is way more of a trophy than whatever rack he throws.

I have some other pics I think could be him as well but they are tough to judge due to angle and movement. We are pretty much seeing a standard main frame 8 across the board on our bucks looking forward to watching them grow.

there are 4 bucks in this pic

That is an old old deer. Sway back and a gut bigger than mine! I bet he is pushing 175 lbs. I would cull him out of the herd.

I'd say 5.5, rare to see where pines grow!
