My deer have abandoned the feeders this week. I think the storm we had last Saturday put a lot of acorns on the ground. Looks like it is time for me to switch strategies and hunt the trails leading back to bedding areas. It happens every year about this time.

Without a doubt this week probably will be end of feeder activity. Acorns falling like crazy both in Cass and Caldwell counties. Gonna take a lot of rain to sour them

Right as I was putting everything up, I seen two does coming through the woods. I figured if they were still coming while I was making so much racket putting everything up, assumption would be if I hurried they'd still be coming while I took everything back out again. Once I hung the ozonics back up, leaned forward to see where they were, and the back of the chair barely came down on some dead grass and spooked them. Lol but yes I think the deer will be coming to ya later.

I had 3 does come in on schedule at 7:30, just like they do every morning. Two left on foot, one in the back of my truck. Not sure what else would have showed up.
