Need to remove a " wet" mildew odor from hunting gear

Well last weekend we had a little rain and I didn't realize my bow case stayed open.
So now my release and rangefinder cover both smell( because I didn't let them air dry) .
What can I put to eliminate the odor ( please don't say scent killer).and kill the mold .
I know vinegar and Clorox will work, but I don't know about putting it on my hunting gear.
I'm sure it has happened to someone on the GS.

I wipe my gear with diluted hydrogen peroxide, not sure what it would do to cloth. For my release strap, hand wash in scent-free soap and air dry.

Aside from washing them in very hot water, with some Dead Down Wind laundry soap, and drying them on high heat, I don't know how you can kill the mold.

            Good luck.

Leave them out in the sun for a few days

If you can put them in a container with a ozone machine it will kill the mold and smell. I had the inside of my truck get wet and had the same thing happen. Stuck a ozone machine in there for 24 hrs and problem solved.
