Computer Help!

I'm running Firefox and it has started acting crazy. When I click on most anything it has ads pop up and it started showing ads on TBH besides the sponsors. I've got the block pop ups checked in the options, but it still does it. It shows ads to the right and left of the screen no matter what site I'm on. What can I do to stop this? Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Malware or spyware.
Download Acusoft's Ad-aware, that should take care of it.

run malwarebytes in safemode

Go to www.filehippo.com and look through the available ad/malware cleaners. I had the same problem about a month ago and it took all of ten minutes to fix.

Well my FF did the same thing the other day and I'm pretty sure it was due to an update of FF I havnt taken the time to fix mine yet. So let me know if you get yours running good.

I just installed Lavasoft Ad-aware and it's still doing it. I also have AVG antivirus running.
How do you run in safe mode?

Reboot computer, then begin hitting f8 as soon as the brand name splash screen disappears. You will see a menu come up, so choose safe mode.

Malwarebytes is much better than ad aware.
