National Parks

I know its a little late but the top of my head blew off when I saw that even the websites for national parks have been shut down.

I hope this doesn't get whacked and I am sorry if this is inappropriate, just wanting some insight. I was in the process of planning a backpacking trip at Big Bend when this happened.

Anyone else affected or mad about this crap?

Its really sad that it has come to closing open air memorials for Veterans. I wish that Congress and the President would go on furlough before Parks and Memorials. Political Political and Political. Manipulation. Sad.

It will be all right man. Go on your trip. Go to the big bend ranch state park. Great hiking there and closer to the porch (terlingua ghost town). I bet the river is running good right now too. Enjoy. Viva terlingua

agreed, the fact that a memorial would be barricaded disgusts me.
