Believe it or not... Not much more, if any, than a gasoline powered counterpart. Yanmar makes a good little diesel.

Don't know much about them but there was a guy here at the local ATV park who had one, he put a big turbo on it with a stack coming out of the bed, it sounded mean coming down the trails.

Turbo diesel? Hmm....sounds powerful enough to do something REALLY stupid in. I want!

I have a diesel mule and had the gas ranger. The power of the diesel is great but not that noticeable com paired to the gas ranger. The diesel is louder but can go a lot further per tank of fuel than the gas. Other than that, not much difference.

I would think the fuel problems would be a lot less with the diesel.
