    Am I doing something wrong?

For the past three weeks I have captured pics of deer on my game cam every single day except two, the two days I went out to the stand, between 7:30 and 8:30. So could I be doing something wrong?

Could be walking thru or parking in their bedding area. Ask me how I know

I'm in The same boat but all my pics are at night, so I'm headed to the stand now to make a mid day hunt since I ain't seeing nothing early ad late. Good luck to you.

They could be bedding really close to your setup. You may be bumping them coming in. Try going in earlier.

Possible that scent is to blame?

Or, they've got your setup figured out and are seeing you before you see them.

It's called hunting. Bad things happen to good people. Just stay with it.

What time are you getting to the stand? Are you pretty well conceaeled in your stand? What about scent control? Could be any one of several factors, could just be bad luck, but if those are the only two days no deer were there it seems something may be up. What path do you take to get to the stand, could it be right through the area they are coming from?

                not enough details..
have you showered in last week
wearing the cologne your aunt bessie bought you for Christmas in '06?
Wearing your lucky shirt with the jingle bell tassles?
driving your truck to the tree you have your stand on..clearing a new shooting lane at the same time?

I hit my stand this morning a little after 5 A.M. mainly because I couldn't sleep. I have a scent lock box all my clothes stay in until I get to the farm. I don't wear my hunting clothes or boots for the drive there. I spray down once I'm dressed. I walk the long way around to avoid their bedding area. My stand is a pretty good setup its hung on a solid oak tree with good cover. Perhaps I should just move my stand completely? Its in the wooded area of the farm, I could move it towards the edge of a field though I have not seen any deer there.

Based on that... you're walking through a bedding area.

How quite are you going in? Some guys you can hear from a mile away making noise. You do smoke or dip do ya?

I can't tell you how quite I am because to me I think I am but to you or someone else I may be loud. I don't smoke or dip. I'm going to post a map soon of the farm to give a better view of what the situation is.

Even if you don't smoke or dip it isn't a bad idea to rinse or brush your teeth with some baking soda before you go out.

You might try a long sit, staying longer than you normally do in the morning. The may have you figured out and might be waiting until you leave. Do you have any pics of them mid day on the days you hunted?

You might want to consider another route to your stand. Might be stepping all over their pillows on your way in
