Goverment CHL Question

Is this government shut down effecting my CHL processing. Tried doing some research but cannot find anything.

The only thing it might affect would be the background check.

Everything else is done in Austin.

I doubt it. Only "non-essential" positions were furloughed.

Are the background checks actually sent off or does a state employee enter your name into a database?
