Don't know why, but I just bought 40 acres in west Texas, about an hour east of El Paso. I know it isn't much land for Texas, but it's something I can call mine.
Congrats on owning part of this nation! Aint no more being made so it is always a great investment.
You been to El Paso? LOL Not real sure you can do much of anything out there with only 40 acres, not enough to graze or hunt, about the only thing you can do is put a house on it and look at the rocks and stars at night.

What are you planning on doing with all this land you are aquiring out here? You bought 40 in ward county a couple of weeks ago and now 40 in el paso. What is you game plan with all this trash land? What is your budget? I could tell you where several 100 acre places are that would actually hold game and you wouldn't be in the desert and they really aren't that expensive.
Not trying to be critical but as a guy that has spent a lot of time out here and know how much land it takes to be productive for anything what is your mindset besides just owning property?
