TBHer DustinMcnutt and I are looking to plan a black bear hunt for the spring. I know many of you guys have gone and had success. What we are looking for are reputable outfitters that you guys have had experience with. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If you are looking for a Canadian hunt I would highly reccomend Martineau River Outfitters in SK. Harley Nault the owner runs a tight ship and has an awesome area with very little hunting pressure. He only does a few hunts each year for bear and he is covered up with bears. He has a great camp on a river. You will see 5 to 10 bears just about every day. I can't say you will kill a B&C bear but if you hold out you should have no problem killing a P&Y.

Don't go with Roch Saviour in New Brunswick. He owns Canadensis Outfitters up there. He is not trustworthy, I hunted with him 2 years ago and killed a bear. He convinced me to have the rug made up there and leave a $500 deposit. I have yet to see my bear and can no longer get in contact with him. He misrepresented himself and the hunt.
