    Deer Blocks

I have been purchasing the HiPro GX 3030 deer block and have a small problem. They last about two days. I suppose that is good but dadgum at eleven bucks apiece times three feeders that comes to over a hundred dollars a week for deer blocks. I thought that the deer would get their fill and slow down but they haven't. They are actually digging into the ground where the block was sitting.
Do you guys and gals think maybe I should put some salt or trace mineral out along with the blocks?

      X"s 2.

I wish I had that problem.

One would think though, that they wouldn't overeat.

Well what's the reason that you're feeding the block? If its for minerals then try the mineral rock thingy. I think it's the trophy rock. They last longer and I've heard good success stories with them.....if its just as an attractant then try only using it when you're going to hunt. That way you're not burning money. I've learned that axis LOVE a certain pelleted feed I use. But each bag is $22. So I use it mixed with my corn and bring it when I hunt.
