Well, seems like we're officially shut down. Im not trying to start a political deboccle, but I hope none of yall are affected. and if you are, i pray its on the uttermost least of circumstances. I pray for anyone affected and our country.

I remember the Democrats did this a lot while Tip O'Neill was Speaker of the House. 13 out of 17 times to be exact. Be patient, if you work for the government you will be paid. I am happy that our founding fathers established a system of checks and balances. Someone needed to say NO to the continued insanity that was taking place in Washington. Just remember, the Democrats do not have enough power to force their wishes on the American people. They can pout all they want but they are going to have to wake up and argree to a deal that is not so one sided.

Totally agree with you but I think both reps and dems are just in it for themselves... I hate politicians and I hate they just push problems down the road until they are actually effecting Americas working folks

Just great...analyst have speculated a 3 - 5 day shutdown before the Redubs cave in and re-open the gov...I say wait till the debt ceiling negotiations which come up mid Oct in which they have more leverage on the demogods!! I truly feel bad for anyone who is personally affected by the shutdown but my blood continues to boil with the continued failed policies from this incompetent administration which has affected more Americans than this shutdown ever will.

BTW-don't forget to enroll in the exchange today....good luck with that!!
