    Over-fed betta fish

My roommate dumped about a week's worth of food in my betta's bowl on Saturday... Now my fish is bloated. I put a few pinches of salt in the bowl last night and did a complete water change today. Is there anything else I can do? He's still active and feisty which is a good thing I guess.

        HAHAHAHAHA....omg!
My same thoughts too before I scrolled down. Sorry OP, not poking fun. I guess I've never been attached to a Beta before.

Let him fast for about 2 days. Stick a mirror in front of the tank for an hour or so and let him work out fighting the mirror. Water quality is more important and you covered that by cycling out the excess food.

Correction, I just saw it on the internets. There ARE Pigmys in New Guinea!

                  New Guineans are headhunters!

OP can't tell you what to do with a bloated fish, I always killed them.

No idea but I know if you put a female in a tank right next to it they get a pretty good work out strutting around.

My daughter and son recently got one each...male and female. Honestly, I thought they'd both be dead by now but have somehow survived.

I just read about the salt the other day for healthy water. I guess this is special salt from a pet store? Can I use Cajun Blaze?

Drop a pinch of snuff in there, it used to do the trick for me and get my colon moving pretty quick....

                          Sorry, not much help

If it doesn't seem sick just let him be and keep doing water changes. The mirror/extra betta idea is more likely to hurt him as he tries to fight his way through the glass tank.
