To early to shoot momma

All the groups of does coming in have fawns. Is it to early to take one of the adult does? Do the other does adopt the fawns??

The general rule of thumb is if the fawns have lost their spots they are old enough to survive on their own.

Kill momma early. Late doe may be bred already and if not, may have big daddy in tow
