I just got my bow back from the shop yesterday and decided to sling a few arrows through it to ensure it was ready. The area where the string first touches the cam had to be served after it popped. After shooting I noticed the newly served area looks rough like its brushing up against something. I'll try to get a pic up but any idea what would cause that?

Serving question
Is it a mathews?? The older models love to eat end serving. You could also have a burr on the cam. -
Have someone do a full draw on your bow, take a Q-tip, fluff it up a little (loosen the cotton) then run it over the track if there is a burr it'll pull cotton feathers off.
When I change the string on my bows I polish all the tracks with a lawn mower pull cord so that won't happen.Comment
