I lost one from jumping the string.
Actually I had one flat duck a arrow at 29 yards.
Couldn't believe it and even put the video on here

I had a sika completely duck an Fmj out of my 60lb matrix a few years ago at 23 yards. I hail mary'd one at an axis doe at 39 and she was 10ft from where she was when I squeezed the trigger when the arrow got there.

My feeder is 18 yards, I dont shoot over about 25, just my preference.

My average is probably 17/18 yds. Hope to add to the average tomorrow morning...

The last 6 yrs never shot a deer past 18 yds. Had 3 that ifbid have had a hammer when they stuck their nose in the popup and smelled the camera I could have whacked them. Pigs I fling carbon out to 40 on. I know I can make that shot with no problem but not taking that chance on a deer with their reaction time out that far.

I've taken shots between 15-49 yards. I usually set up my pop-ups at about 23 yards.

My closest was about 12 yards, farthest was 30. I'd say average 18 to 20.

I remember that big ol' doe!

My avg last yr was around 20yds. Shortest - 6yds, longest- 53 on a coyote.

Even most hunting shows are in that 20 yard mark
                            6'.....that's impressive.

my average would be 15-20 yards for deer. Never shot a deer past 25. If the conditions were perfect and a non alert deer I would shoot maybe 50 but I just dont think its the best idea for deer. A lot can happen and they can jump the string. On hogs, who cares Ill shoot them at 60. The farthest was 55 yards. I just hate to gut shoot a deer and waste it!
