    Is this a spider bite??

Grabbed my climber yesterday and headed to the shop to get some last minute practice out of a tree. I noticed a spider with 2 egg sacks on my stand. Thought man this ring is dirty but nothing else. That was around 4. Flash forward to about 8 pm. I'm at walmart with the wife and notice a small clear blister on top of a red swollen area. (About the size of a nickel). I put some liquid silver on it over night. I woke up this morning and the clear bubble has gotten bigger but redness is down. The blister is clear and about the size of a pea. No pain or tenderness. 4pm would be my guess on a 24hour mark.Click image for larger version

No fever blisters. If it is a spider bit the update pics could get disturbing!

Molluscum i think, my little brother had it, go to the Dr. if more start to pop up and they will give you something to put on it.

Not sure if it is a spider bite but have you noticed anymore like it? I get allergic reactions to some plant oils and will have them pop up. May want to call your doc just in case.

It looks like a blister from a burn of some kind. It is definitely not a spider bite. I have had enough of those including a brown recluse. They are extremely painful. The poison causes the skin and tissue to die and they leave a hole and the area around it gets red and swollen. Sometimes more than 2" in diameter.

I didn't say ingest it. Been using it topically for years.

Just pop it, toss some neosporin on it and a bandaid.

                            Does anyone remember that?

not trying to scare you, but heard the brown recluse leaves a blister at first. hope that rumor is wrong. have it checked out man, let me know if you can. good luck, and again, lets hope that rumor is wrong.
