    Ramcats & quivers!

I know it is very close to the opening of the season and I have seen several complaints about people haveing trouble getting the Ramcat broadheads in and out of a lot of the quivers being bought and sold on the market. Everyone wants the smallest, slimmest and lightest quiver they can find that are made to fit the smaller cutting diameter heads, 1" to 1 1/8" heads and the Ramcats being a minimum 1 3/8" do not work real well in these tight, small quivers.

    I have the solution: http://ewbateman.com/

I personally use his hip quiver and have used his bow quiver and they fit the Ramcats just fine with room to spare. Besides, this is a Texas company!

You got a better pic of the one you use on your compound?

Do not use one on my compound, I use the hip quiver.

There is a easy way to make the insert in the quiver fit them perfectly. Just heat up the broadhead you are going to use and then insert into the foam insert in the quiver for a second or two and pull out. Now you have a perfect fitting quiver.

Do not think most are talking about the insert, they are talking about the width of the quiver hood. Being made for the samller heads, the 1 3/8" or 1 1/2" Ramcat heads tend to grap or hit the side of the quiver hood and open the blade more on the Ramcats.

I used ew's for a long time. I use an Octane Bantam now. I can fill it with Ramcats.

Ragin' post a pic of the Bantam when you get a chance.

I use a Premium TreeLimb but it doesn't completely cover the tips of the RamCat's and due to the fact that the RamCat's are sharp on both side of the blade (for back cutting) I am a little nervous using it. I may come up with something to widen the back edge of the quiver till I can do something else.

I will ask Brett and Chris what they recommend for RamCat's.

Yeah. My season opener is Wednesday, and just found out they have a hard time fitting in my t5. Dangit. Should I get a new quiver?

Nevermind! I got 3 to fit in the middle slots.
