    Highway use tire sealant?

Anyone know of anything to help guard against leaks, for use in highway tires? I know the stuff we use in atv tires will cause balance issues, is there anything that won't? Cactus and mesquite is wreaking havoc on my tires!

There are a couple things you can do. I had the same problem years ago. One of the best things you can do is make sure your tires are pumped up to the max pressure so they don't bulge on the side as much. That helped a bunch for cactus/mesquite thorns. The next thing I did was get some "Mulit-Seal" (brand name) and I put the recommended amount in my tires. It works fine on the highway as long as you follow the recommendations. I use the heavy duty formula. It's pricey, but one gallon will do a set of full size 18-20" tires. The absolute best thing you can do is STAY ON THE ROADS...

Following. I was told mine are leaking next to the rim. They said the rim is bent slightly from probably a pot hole too fast. Wondering if there is anything I can use instead of buying a new rim.

No luck, so far on finding anyone that has heard of using graphite powder. I'd be willing to give it a shot, if I could find it. I am curious though, if that might cause issues with the "tire pressure sensors"?

I called the local Discount and the guy had no clue what I was talking about. I asked him if he could ask the longest tenured employee in the store about it, and he was clueless too!

Just wanted to bump this up. Breezy hooked me up with some powdered graphite. It helped tremendously! I'm still not leak free, but it definitely slowed them WAY down!
